Demonstrating their consistent commitment, the Langkawi Plant team has once again spearheaded two meaningful community initiatives.

On 28 May, a Blood Donation Drive was conducted at Langkawi Plant’s Multipurpose Hall in collaboration with Hospital Sultanah Maliha. Volunteers from Langkawi Plant stepped forward to support the blood donation drive. A total of 27 packs of blood (around 10.78 litres) was collected. One pack can potentially support up to three patients in need. This means the drive could potentially benefit over 80 individuals.

On 9 June, the team came together again to celebrate Hari Raya Aidiladha at Surau Al Ehsan, Housing B. In the spirit of giving, the team donated around 100kg of daging korban to the locals. The food aid reached more than 200 beneficiaries from Telok Yu, Kampung Ewa Belibis, and Kubang Badak, offering festive cheer and strengthening ties with neighbouring communities.

These efforts reflect the Langkawi team’s ongoing commitment to supporting both health and harmony within the community.
